The TrollNation Crew had embarked on a road trip to visit with hundreds of alumni and friends of Trinity.  Heading up the group was Vice-President for Development Larryl Humme. Joining him will be alumnus Jordan Huenink ’07  and super senior Jeff Roon ’09.

In Humme’s words, “We want to spread the word about Trinity’s 50th anniversary and invite our alumni and friends across the nation to return to campus in October to celebrate! The College’s mission is to equip young people to make a difference for Christ, and this is an exciting opportunity to see this mission played out while highlighting the importance of our alumni and their work in His kingdom.”

The Plan

Beginning on Monday, May 18, three adventurous souls will embark on a road trip around the country that will span 23 cities, 20 days, over 7,800 miles, and cross paths with hundreds of alumni and friends of Trinity. As the college celebrates and reflects on her first 50 years in 2009, we see a once in a lifetime opportunity to connect with those folks who can’t make it to campus as regularly.

The TrollNation crew will be stopping in various cities to host a gathering and do something fun! We will also be conducting numerous alumni interviews to hear favorite memories of their time spent at Trinity. Checkout our road trip schedule to see if we are stopping at a place near you. If you live near one of our stops, we would love it if you would drop in and say hello!

We managed to find three crew members who are brave enough to spend 20 days riding in a car. Heading up the group will be Vice-President for Development, Larryl Humme, a five year veteran here at Trinity. Joining him will be super senior Jeff Roon ’09, and recent alumnus/tech guru, Jordan Huenink ’07. Together, this motley crew hopes to get to know as many of our 7,000 plus alumni, as well as current students, future students, and other friends.
